Joram Jarabe

Butterfly

You started crawling at first
Remembering the grasses, and
Up on the trees you persevere.

Hardships and failures you had
Stress and tension you endure
Finding a place that gives solace.

Time comes that you needed rest
In the cocoon you made
In solitude you prayed.

“One day you will fly
And the world will see
The beauty you possess.”
